Welcome to Ben’s Place – A Community of Friends where everyone was created different but will be treated equal.

Ben’s Place Services, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, serving Northeast Florida dedicated to serving individuals with developmental or acquired disabilities. Ben’s Place was started by parents of individuals with developmental disabilities along with the developmentally challenged individuals themselves. There was a desire from these individuals to have a place to socialize with others and that prompted Ben, whom the organization is named after and pictured below, to challenge his mother to create such a place.

Since 2001 we’ve been a unique opportunity for adults with developmental or acquired disabilities to interact and learn life skills with their peers in a social environment. We provide daily activities such as arts and crafts, games, dances, physical fitness, music, movies, and a kitchen for cooking instruction.
